Red Arch Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD on a priority contract. The position involves developing modern web applications using frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Vue, as well as backend development using Java or Node.js. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of CSS and RESTful service integration. Preferred qualifications include experience with React, Vite, Redux, SCSS, Tailwind CSS, Docker, and AWS. Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web sockets, and 508 compliance is highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working in Agile environments, using GitLab CI/CD, and contributing to documentation in tools like Jira and Confluence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Developing applications using AngularJS / React / Vue (other JS frameworks)
- Developing Java Web or NodeJS applications
- Experience using and implementing CSS
- Developing or integrating with RESTful Services
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with querying or building relational or non-relational databases (i.e., MongoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL).
- Experience building user-facing web applications in JavaScript frameworks using React, Vite, Redux
- Experience with docker
- Experience using and implementing SCSS and Tailwind CSS
- Experience using web sockets
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with generating technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Developing applications that are 508 compliant
- Experience managing software code using GitLab (specifically GitLab CI/CD)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
Salary range for this position: $144,000 - 147,000 #CJ
