Network Engineer (Senior Deployment Technician)

Network Engineering - Columbia, MD - Full Time

Position Overview:
Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Senior Deployment Technician to join our PRIME contract Ft. Meade, MD. As a Senior Deployment Technician, you'll assess and document site configurations, design optimized network topologies and help lead installation projects. You'll work closely with a dynamic team, developing schedules, assisting with configuration changes, and preparing installation and test reports to ensure smooth network operations. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a hands-on and collaborative environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys.
  • Assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements.
  • Design and optimize network topologies.
  • Direct and lead preparation of engineering plans and site installation Technical Designs Packages.
  • Develops installation schedules.
  • Works on installation team.
  • Assist in the preparation of drawing and documenting configuration changes at each site.
  • Prepares site installation and test reports.
  • Mobilize network installation team.
  • Direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.
  • Prepare site installation and test reports.
  • Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support.
  • Organize and direct network installations on site surveys.
  • Assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements.
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus eight (8) years relevant experience. May substitute Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus ten (10) years relevant experience or High School/GED with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification and Computing Environment (CE) Certification. The CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS, Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Salary Range for this Position $169,000-177,000 #CJ

The Red Arch Solutions pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
