Technical Recruiter (Cleared Intel Community)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and results-driven Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical talent across prime and subcontract government programs.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of navigating the highly competitive Intelligence Community (IC) space and possesses a deep understanding of recruiting candidates with high-level security clearances (TS/SCI and above). This position offers a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment, requiring someone who can work independently while remaining a highly collaborative team player.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

  • Full-lifecycle recruiting for complex technical roles including Software Developers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, and other specialized engineering positions.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing strategies on platforms such as LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche cleared job boards to identify and engage passive candidates holding TS/SCIand higher clearances.
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines of cleared talent to successfully staff both prime and subcontract positions.
  • Coordinate, assist with, and attend both in-person and virtual career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
Social Media & Branding
  • Leverage social media platforms to post open requisitions and actively source qualified professionals.
  • Create and post regular company updates on social media channels to enhance employer branding and market visibility.
  • Actively network within the defense and intelligence ecosystems to build long-term talent communities.
Administrative & Compliance
  • Manage candidate pipelines, track recruiting metrics, and ensure data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Maintain strict compliance with company HR policies and federal regulations, specifically Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) guidelines.
  • Prepare, format, and modify recruitment materials, candidate profiles, and job descriptions using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF tools.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the broader HR and recruiting teams on special initiatives as needed.

Basic Qualifications
Experience & Domain Knowledge
  • 1 to 9 years of dedicated technical recruiting experience, specifically hiring Software Developers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, or similar technical fields.
  • Proven experience recruiting in support of government contracts within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Demonstrated history of successfully sourcing, screening, and placing candidates holding active TS/SCI security clearances or higher.
  • Proven track record of successfully staffing both prime and subcontract roles.
  • Strong foundational understanding of human resources policies and OFCCP compliance regulations.
  • Experience in FULL LIFECYCLE Recruiting (from identifying a candidate and working with them through onboarding).
  • Salary Negotiation skills for candidates.
  • Knowledge of job posting requirements by state.
Tools & Technology
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major cleared job boards.
  • Hands-on experience navigating and managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Competency with multiple mainstream job boards and platforms (e.g., Google, Glassdoor, Indeed).
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Practical ability to create, edit, and modify PDF documents.

  • Teamwork: Effectively working with all members of our HQ team—Talent Acquisition, HR, Contract, Program Management, Finance and Corporate Leadership.
Travel & Schedule Requirements
  • Open to a flexible schedule and a dynamic environment.
  • Work location will be >90% in Columbia MD
  • Mobility: Ability to travel to local worksites, corporate offices, and recruitment events throughout the DC/MD/VA (DMV) area as required (<10%).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Perform clerical functions—answering calls, scheduling interviews, following up with candidates.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Hootsuite
  • Experience creating templates for DoD contract
  • Experience with JazzHR or similar ATS
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • 1-3 years of recruiting for DoD/DoW.
  • Experience with DoD/DoW contracting in MD and VA working with multiple customers


Salary range 70-100K
