Red Arch Solutions is seeking a Senior Cloud Engagement Manager to join our Maryland team. 

AWS Cloud Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Consultant to join our team and guide clients through their cloud adoption, migration, and optimization journeys on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS services, best practices, and architecture, coupled with exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.


Required Skills:
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications using AWS services. Prefer experience using AWS managed serviced (ie. Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS)
  • Containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting and automation experience using Python
  • Defining and developing to interfaces for various data sources using both relational and non-relational database technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (AWS CDK or Terraform) 
  • Full stack web development experience preferred, but not required
  • JavaScript/TypeScript experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience automating deployment of AWS-based architectures using DevOps practices, including automated testing and CI/CD practices
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7 years of implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications 
  • 2 years of software development tools and methodologies
  • 3 years presenting to executives or IT management
  • Experience migrating multiple customers to AWS
  • Within 6 months--PM certification (PMP, Scrum Master or Government contracting certification
  • Within 6 months--AWS Certification--Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Salary range for this position $225,000-270,000 #CJ
