Senior Front-End Software Developer - Telework Available
This position offers up to 16 hours of Telework per week.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required PLUS Eight (8) years of experience with front end web development in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- *Twelve (12) years total of experience with front end web development may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in coding websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
- Experience supporting website planning, deployment, and implementation
- Ability to write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for websites
- Skilled in maintaining technical documentation to assist with future upgrades and maintenance
- Strong background in developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting high-performance web applications
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex software problems and provide effective, up-to-date solutions
- Experience collaborating with management and IT teams to define web project specifications
- Proficient in using a variety of internet technologies, tools, and techniques including:
- Graphics software applications
- Object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, CGI, Visual Basic, HTML, XML)
- Web development tools for creating UI elements, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business features
- Ability to co-develop and maintain scalable web-based applications in coordination with lead developers
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex software issues
- Proven ability to work independently on more advanced or complex development projects
- Experience integrating new web features and products with existing systems to enhance performance and design
